Herniated Disc Injures
Herniated disc injuries are
painful and permanent injuries
that may require expensive
medical treatment. They can
result in lifelong pain and
impairment. Disc injuries can
impair you to the point where
you can no longer work or have
to seek a different line of
work. You need the assistance
of an experienced personal
injury attorney to make sure you
are fully compensated for your
disc injury.
In
order to maximize your recovery
for your herniated disc injury,
you need an experienced trial
lawyer who is familiar with
these types of claims. I have
successfully handled a number of
herniated disc claims and I will
work hard to make sure you are
fully compensated for your disc
injury. I am familiar with the
causes of these injuries and the
medical procedures used to treat
disc injuries. In order to
receive full and fair
compensation for these injuries
it is often necessary to retain
a personal injury attorney, as
insurance companies do not want
pay the large amounts that these
injuries are worth. I will work
hard to investigate your claim,
negotiate a settlement, and file
a lawsuit and litigate your case
if necessary. Unlike many
attorneys, I am not afraid to
file a lawsuit and take your
case to trial to make sure you
receive fair and full
compensation for you disc
injury. I will work hard to make
sure that all of your medical
expenses are paid and that you
are compensated for your pain
and suffering, lost wages, and
future economic losses.
If you have
suffered a disc injury DO NOT
SETTLE YOUR CLAIM WITHOUT
TALKING TO AN ATTORNEY. I do
not charge for consultations and
I can help you determine what is
fair compensation for your disc
injury. Insurance companies
will often try and get you to
settle your claim for far less
than it is worth.
If you have
already received an offer from
the insurance company, I will
not charge you a fee unless I
can better that offer.
Herniated disc injuries can be
painful and permanent
injuries. Herniated disc
injuries can lead to life long
pain, impairment, and
substantial medical expenses.
Disc injuries are commonly
caused by car accidents, falls,
and other trauma to the back and
neck Herniated discs are
commonly referred to as
herniated discs, bulged discs,
slipped discs, ruptured discs,
and disc protrusions. Unlike
most soft tissue injuries,
herniated discs can be seen on
MRI’s and easily diagnosed by
competent doctors. They can be
treated by physical therapy,
injections, and ultimately
removal and fusion of the
vertebrae. This can be very
painful and expensive surgery,
and often the pain does not go
away after the surgery.
In
addition to the pain, herniated
disc can cause loss of sensation
and numbness when they bulge and
press against your nerves. They
can cause Sciatica—pain along
the large sciatic nerve that
runs from the lower back down
the back of each leg—is a
relatively common form of back
pain. Sciatica is usually
caused by pressure on the
sciatic nerve from a herniated
disc (also referred to as a
ruptured disc, pinched nerve,
slipped disk, etc.). The problem
is often diagnosed as a "radiculopathy",
meaning that a disc has
protruded from its normal
position in the vertebral column
and is putting pressure on the
radicular nerve (nerve root).
For some people, the pain from
sciatica can be severe and
debilitating. For others, the
pain might be infrequent and
irritating, but has the
potential to get worse. Usually,
sciatica only affects one side
of the lower body, and the pain
often radiates from the lower
back all the way through the
back of the thigh and down
through the leg. Depending on
where the sciatic nerve is
affected, the pain may also
radiate to the foot or toes.
If you are
experiencing any of these
symptoms, make sure you see a
doctor and have them diagnosed.
